Khuda Ki Basti is an Urdu literature classic which has been translated in 26 international languages. It is probably the only novel ever, which is adapted and televise thrice as a television drama serial. In 1968 and 1974 it was produced by state owned Pakistan Television (PTV) and in the year 2004-05 it was produced by Kohinoor Television and Production for Uni-Lever (Pakistan), MindShare (Pakistan)/BroadMind (Pakistan), global media companies.

Khuda ki Basti is a story of the down-trodden and the oppressed and can relate to every human being struggling for survival in, what is now termed as, the “global village”. 

It was aired on Geo Television network in the year 2004-05 and is the highest rated television drama serial/soap to-date.

Kohinoor has acquired the production rights of the novel till 2014.

Such-beetiyan is a drama series based on true stories. It is currently aired on AAJ TV and has been renewed for the fourth consecutive season. Based on storylines spread over 3-4 episodes it has a social and religious essence, to which, every viewer can relate.

Aik Gana Aik Afsana was produced/aired in the year 1999-2004. Based on filmi tunes, the storyline and the script of this drama series was based on lyrics of the songs.
Although aired on a time-slot termed as non-prime time on PTV-World, Aik Gana Aik Afsana was the highest rated drama-software which completed 450 episodes before it was concluded.

Beautiful Chowk, currently being recorded at the Kohinoor Studios is yet another production, unique in idea and treatment both. A light comedy/social /musical serial recorded on a 50 ft by 110 ft main set and two-storey old muhallah/residential area, Beautiful Chowk promises food for thought, entertainment and aesthetics.

Reality-based programmes. Kohinoor has great concepts and format for reality based entertainment programmes also.
